Can you turn any photo or image into an art piece?

As long as you have legal permission to use it, sure!

The best way to expedite this process is provide a .DXF or .STL file. If that’s not an option for you, we can also work with .JPG images- though this will make your order more expensive since it will require more time and attention to get a good cut out of it. We may also have to omit some details or add structural support to some images in order for them to cut well.

What materials can I have you cut?

We mainly use mild steel, though we also keep galvanized and stainless steel on hand in various gauges, as well as sheet aluminum in varying thicknesses. Generally, we can work with up to sheets up to 1/2” thick, though some designs will not cut well out of thicker materials.

How quick is your turnaround?

Storefront orders take about a day to prepare and ship.

Orders received before 2PM Eastern will be designed same-day and cut if we have the material on hand to do so. Once the parts are cut and cleaned up, they move on to painting. By morning, most parts are cured enough to handle and be packaged, so they move on to shipping.

The only exceptions are if we don’t have the material on hand to fulfill your order (we will have to wait for it to be delivered) or if you opt to pick up your order in person (you can pick up your finished pieces at any time after the paint is initially cured).

Custom art orders will take longer in the design process- typically an extra day will be required. We will also wait for confirmation from you before cutting materials unless you instruct us to do otherwise.

Parts that need to be made to spec will also take longer- especially if manufacturing them requires more than one process (welding, cutting, etc)

Why do you have a statue of Bigfoot in front of your shop?

We have a CNC plasma cutter in house- so why not?
